On Saturday, I read a post from our listener Tom in New York, talking about the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, and that our thirteen episode marathon helped entertain him during the power outage, hysteria, and inability to work that followed.
He described the scene of riding through NYC on a borrowed bicycle, unable to enjoy his traditional Halloween, but feeling connected to normalcy (or "normalcy," since I am involved) by listening to me and Big talk about our various topics. He said we were there for him when he needed it . . . and that really made my day.
So, I quickly ran over to Fake Sean Connery's place to see if he would collaborate with me on something to thank Listener Tom. And here's the result.
